We got the pistachio donut, crueler, and the classic glazed donut. My personal favorite was the classic glazed donut but they were all great. Personally, they weren't the most breathtaking or memorable donuts, but overall for the price and taste, they are so worth it - possibly better than their equivalent Peter Pan's too.

Great donuts for about $2.50 a pop! Got the cruller and pistachio cake donuts. The cruller was very airy and nice which I liked. Pistachio was coated with a very healthy amount of pistachios. Also tried a regular glazed old fashioned which was solid, too. Place has counters and seats available which is nice. They serve other food there too like breakfast sandwiches and burgers for a good price. I'd definitely come back again! Service was quick and friendly despite only being 2, maybe 3 people working. They do take credit cards. And with no minimum which is nice!

Came here on a Monday afternoon around 4pm understanding my selection would be limited. I tried the red velvet French cruller, the crème brûlée, and vanilla cream donuts. I was sad there were no pistachio/kanefa donuts left but understand I came at the very end of the day. Despite the time of day, the donuts were all fresh and delicious. The crème brûlée donut had the perfect "crack" to it and a great amount of filling, the cruller was cake-y and would be great with coffee, and the vanilla cream might've been the best I ever had! The prices were reasonable and the staff was kind! Would definitely stop by again!

Good luck trying to decide what delicious baked goods you want! EVERYTHING IS AWESOME! Moe and his Son Sam are just as amazing! Great spot to become a regular in Greenpoint and for visitors from other boroughs and tourists!!! You're Welcome...

Ordered: Kunaffe Donut (~$4) Aya's take: Apparently Moe's Doughs has been around for 10 years, and I'm just now trying it! Moe's Doughs is a fully halal donut shop which is rare to come across. Being Middle Eastern, the Kunaffe Donut immediately caught my eye. Hands down, the Kunaffe Donut is one of the first properly executed kunaffe desserts I've ever had. Everything I love about kunaffe - the shredded phyllo dough, the sweet cream flavored with rose water, and the pistachios are all delicately and beautifully put together here. My only critique is that the sweet cream on the inside could use more rose water syrup. It was super creamy and light but lacked sweetness. Come to Moe's Doughs to support a local Egyptian business and order the Kunaffe Donut! You will be glad you did.

Moe's is the best donut shop in Greenpoint - hands down. Their history is actually quite interesting, so if you have wondered why is this shop so similar to Peter Pan then please dive deep! The staff is consistently kind, and even accept my packages that are mistakenly delivered there, which I greatly appreciate. I prefer Moe's over Peter Pan because they accept card. Yes there is a markup but it's still so affordable. Some prices were raised recently, but not excessively. Their BEC bagels are similar to what you may get at a local deli, and probably cost less. I love their "doissants", the sour cream, creme brulee, knafeh, and cookie butter donuts. THE BEST is the Paczkis on Fat Tuesday. The reason for 4 stars is that cake donuts are not my preference, but they are the specialty of Moe's. FYI - this isn't a spot you sit down at. McGolrick and McCarren are both close by for eating outside. I recommend picking up a coffee from Okka on your way.

Loved the Samoa donut! (I love anything coconut) Everything we had here was great so you can't go wrong!

Great donuts! My dad brought back some donuts so I can't comment on the service or ambiance. All I know that the donuts were great and I'll be back for more!

Moe's Doughs is the superior donut shop in Greenpoint. This review is based on a blind taste test by 4 judges and comparing 6 identical donuts. Moe's doughs donuts had a cleaner taste. We all felt the other place had an oily taste. In fact the Boston crème and strawberry glazed from Moe's remained solid while the other shops became visually oily. Chocolate glazed - winner Honey Dipped - winner Boston Crème - similarly comparable Jelly - comparable Strawberry frosted - winner Old fashioned - winner
